DESCRIPTION:  District 5580 is now calling for nominations for the office 
 of District Governor for the Rotary year 2029-2030\, and qualified Rotaria
 ns may submit a nomination for consideration by the District Nominating Co
 mmittee.    The Rotary clubs in our district have many outstanding past 
 presidents making a difference in their clubs and communities. Serving as 
 District Governor is an opportunity for these committed Rotarians to bring
  the same leadership\, skills and vision to District 5580. Now is the time
  for your club to nominate an outstanding Past President for District Gove
 rnor 2029-30.     The Nominee must submit the following documents:    
      Governor-Nominee Data Form\; Curriculum Vitae to accompany Governo
 r-Nominee Data Form\; Resolution adopted by Nominee’s Rotary Club\; Cons
 ent to Background Check by Nominee\; and Photo of Nominee (head and should
 ers) in .jpeg format\, if emailed       The above documents must be recei
 ved no later than September 14\, 2026.     Please take time to review t
 he Qualification Guidelines (included in this letter)\, as you will want t
 o make certain your nominee meets the criteria prior to submitting his/her
  nomination. Following receipt of all nominations\, the District Nominatin
 g Committee will schedule interviews with each nominee at a specified time
 .  Interviews will be held at Cragun's Resort\, Brainerd\, MN on Thursda
