The Bismarck Rotary Club coordinated the 13th annual Keep Bismarck Beautiful on Saturday, May 2. More than 200 community volunteers showed up to clean up a park or section of town. Rotarians publicized the event, coordinated with other entities including the Park District and Public Works Departments, and assigned areas of town to be cleaned to groups of volunteers. Several other service clubs participate in this event and clean up their own parks, including the Optimist Club and the Bismarck Lions.
