Annual Fund Giving Update
If you have heard our Annual Fund or Foundation presentations, you will know we strongly encourage supporting The Rotary Foundation (TRF) Annual Fund. Your contributions to the Annual Fund are invested by TRF for three years and then are made available to our district and world fund to fund the grants that enable us to have a positive impact on our local and international communities. Your dues to Rotary International do not fund our grant programs. It is OUR contributions to the Annual Fund that fund our District and Global Grants.
Our Foundation Annual Fund giving goal is an average of $100 per Rotarian in our district. At the time this article was prepared, our district was averaging $67 per Rotarian. However, 13 clubs were at $100 or more average giving per Rotarian. Another 6 clubs were in the $80 to $99 average per member. Unfortunately, we also have 11 clubs with no contribution to the Annual Fund this fiscal year.
Our Rotary fiscal year ends on June 30, 2025, so we have time to move the needle. Please take the time to review your commitment to annual fund giving. Achieving an average of $100 per member will enable our district to continue to impact our local and international communities 3 years from now! To make a contribution to the TRF Annual Fund simply go to the TRF website https://my.rotary.org/en/ On the sign in page, simply click the DONATE button at the top of the page. Select the Annual Fund – Share and donate on the TRF website. If you sign into My Rotary, your personal and club giving record will be automatically updated.
