The aroma of simmering sauce and warm spaghetti once again brought neighbors together as Devils Lake Rotary hosted its 52nd annual Spaghetti Feed on September 17. Long before the first plate was served, Rotarians were already at work—donning aprons, preparing food the night before, cooking on event day, setting up the hall, serving guests, cleaning up, and keeping the lines moving smoothly. It is a true team effort and a reflection of Rotary’s commitment to service above self.

This year, volunteers filled 329 to-go boxes and welcomed 404 guests to dine at the Devils Lake KC Hall. The impact continued after the final meal was served: leftovers were donated to the Growth and Engagement Center, which provides meals and other services for people in need. In that way, the Spaghetti Feed reached beyond the hall and extended Rotary’s spirit of care throughout the community.

Funds raised through the Spaghetti Feed help Devils Lake Rotary respond to a variety of community requests and support the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. Each meal purchased becomes part of something larger—helping Rotary invest in local needs, encourage young readers, and strengthen the community through hands-on service. The event is more than a fundraiser; it is neighbors helping neighbors, one plate at a time.

Held each year in mid to late September, the Devils Lake Rotary Spaghetti Dinner has become a well-loved local tradition—one that serves up generous portions of food, fellowship, and community spirit. For Devils Lake Rotary, it is also a delicious reminder of what can happen when people roll up their sleeves and work together for the good of others.
