The Ides of March have past – we are on our way to SPRING!! Yes, we really are, although last weekend made many of us doubt that! March also brings the Rotary emphasis on water and sanitation projects. How are you and your Club planning to celebrate our multi-District Unite for Water initiative? Starting on Earth Day, April 22, 2026, Rotary Clubs across five states in 5 Districts will unite for a powerful, multi-district clean water project. By Uniting for Good we will show the world the impact Rotary makes!

Project Ideas -
- Adopt a Drain, are there drains to keep clean and free of debris.
- Adopt a Highway/Roadside pick-up which benefits the water that passes through our roadside and ditches.
- Do an event or exhibit including water tastings and water clinics.
- Partner with natural resource organizations on Aquatic Invasive Species education.
- Shoreline restoration projects and Natural Shorelines are important in water quality
- Get the Lead Out programs help to eliminate lead in fishing tackle.
- Educate opportunities to avoid application of chemicals that will run-off into water ways/water bodies OR infiltrate into ground water.
