The most common concern of leaders is communication strategies.

Best Practices:
- Newsletters can reach a large audience with timely messages. To keep your readers’ attention, use eye-catching images, be concise, and include information that they haven’t read before.
- Email works well when you’re trying to reach a small audience or when the news needs to be shared quickly. Keep your message brief and to the point. Use the subject line to clearly describe the purpose of the email.
- Social media allows you to stay in touch in a more informal and immediate way. Use it to keep in contact with your regional team (for example, through WhatsApp) or to engage your district leaders (for example, through a regional or zone Facebook page).
- Conference calls are best when you need to talk with a small group of people to strategize or answer questions. Effective conference calls often have a set agenda and last 30 to 60 minutes.
