Fellow Rotarians,
June is the last month of the 2021-22 Rotary year! A lot of things happen this month, many of them tying up loose ends for this Rotary year and then making preparations for the coming Rotary year.
Clubs and Rotarians in our Rotary District 5580 have been superb this year stepping up to support humanitarian needs around the world. Contributions to The Rotary Foundation Annual Fund are up 23% over last year and per capita average giving to the annual fund has increased 32% over last year. Total giving (combination of Annual Fund, PolioPlus and Endowments) is up 24% over last year. Giving to PolioPlus is about the same as 2020-21. However, a known large contribution is not yet accounted for.
THANK YOU to all the clubs and Rotarians in our district who have responded to critical needs around the world and dug deeper to do what Rotarians do, SERVE OTHERS!
As a reminder, all gifts to be credited to this Rotary year must be received by The Rotary Foundation by June 30.
