SOLAR ENERGÍA PROJECT GREEN LIFE CHAPECÓ
The project consists in the implementation of a Photovoltaic Energy Generation System, through the installation of solar panels.
Goals:
- Offer a renewable energy system with an 90% reduction in the organization's operating costs;
- Contribute to the economic and environmental sustainability of the institution;
- Strengthen the integration of the Rotary Club of Chapecó Clubs with the community.
- Promote actions of impact in the community with a view to human and social development.
- Disseminate clean and renewable energy generation technology.
GREEN LIFE PROGRAM: Dentre os beneficiários do projeto, são undertaken 70 families not Green Life Program, na recylagem of waste. O projeto oportunizou emprego e renda for more than 1000 employees nesses 25 years of existence
Verde Vida is a pioneer in recycling and respect for the environment. At the end of 2018, it had sent 56,378 tons of waste to the recyclable waste reuse industries, generating an excellent contribution to the environment.

Recently it implemented an urban garden for the production of vegetables without the use of pesticides, with fertilization through composting of organic waste.
Or project benefits public policies that strengthen links with young people in situations of vulnerability, between 10 and 17 years
The Verde Vida program works in the development of Art, Music and Theater, for the socialization of young people, making presentations throughout the southern region of Brazil.
Socio-educational program through sport, integrates young people into the amateur sport called athlete of the future
Other benefits of the Program are:
- Strengthening ties and individuality of young people in situations of vulnerability.
- Low cost employment and income generation, especially for people with low levels of education, former recyclers and the elderly.
- Refer young people to the labor market.
- Provide social assistance to vulnerable families.
- Contribute to reduce marginality.
- Provide free socio-educational assistance during school hours to young people in need.
- Collaborate to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
- To contribute to the extension of the useful life of the landfill, avoiding costs for the government when carrying out the selective collection of recyclable materials.
- Save resources such as water, energy, supplies and chemicals by sending recyclable waste to industries.
- Sensitize students who visit the Program to the correct separation.
- Reduce environmental pollution
- Generate positive social and environmental externalities
