Hello Karl. Good morning.
Greetings to all.
A note just to inform you and inform you that the construction works of the Jatun Mayu Health Center are in the process.
Comment that there is much interest in the community for the work and participation of them is quite helpful and comply with the agreement, the same is noted with the help and participation of Icla authorities.
During this time the advance is a little slow, for the days of end-of-year holidays, carnivals and especially for the rainy season.
Attached the detailed report of work progress. If you require any other information, please let us know.
In relation to your trip, there will be no problems to make a visit to the community and prepare a thank you program in September, or when you think it is convenient.
1. INITIAL WORKING:
Jatun Mayu, community of the municipality of Icla belonging to the Zudáñez province of the department of Chuquisaca, based its economy on agriculture and the raising of small-scale domestic animals. In this community the construction of a health center will be carried out, the construction works begin during the first week of the month of December, beginning with the transfer of the materials to the community, there the people wait for us to be able to download all the material of building. In the meantime, Mano a Mano Bolivia personnel makes the location of the foundation plans and the footings. Later, they work with the excavation of the same with the
2. FOUNDATIONS - SHOES - VIGA DE ARRIOSTRE:
Once the excavation is completed, the braces of the footings are planted together with those of the columns, to then empty the concrete in the footings and the foundations. After that the formwork for the beams of brace and the foundations are prepared, the concrete is poured in the forms.
3. WORKS IN COLUMNS (FORMWORK AND EMPTYING):
Armed the shuttering of the columns is also emptied in the concrete leaving the process of setting the same, so that the next day remove the formwork proceeding with the polishing immediately giving the required finish to apply the paint.
4. BRICK WORKING ON WALLS:
Finishing the emptying of concrete in the columns, we proceed with the waterproofing of the foundation to start the brickwork in the walls, this process is quite detailed, so the advance is slower in relation to the other items to this the climate of the zone is added that continuously appears with sporadic rain at any moment impeding the advance.
