Bismarck Rotary Club members enjoyed an hour and a half cruise along the Missouri River in the Lewis & Clark Riverboat on June 26. The event was a fundraiser for their arboretum and raised $2,994 for future projects.
President Jim Herrington served two consecutive terms as President (due to the unexpected move out-of-state of the President-Elect in 2022) but finally was able to turn the reins over to our new President Genie Sauvageau on July 5. Genie works for Midcontinent Communications (Midco) and has held several leadership roles in our club including Membership Chair and Board member. She recently returned from the Rotary International Convention in Australia. The Bismarck Rotary Club sends the incoming president to the convention every year.
