Like an awakening giant, District 5580 has many,many clubs that are now more aware of the effect an increased Public Image can produce;  as reports start to file in about increased inquiries about projects, events, and membership coming from the general public. We are getting news sources and social networks alike to look at Rotary with a  new  interest...This is EXACTLY what we want!

As explained to Conference goers in Thunder Bay, ROTARY is evolving, and creating a campaign called PEOPLE OF ACTION to get people to realize WHO WE ARE and WHAT WE DO...As part of that campaign, ROTARY has adopted a new brand, which pairs the word "Rotary" with a new, simplified gear wheel.. And here is how our District is stepping up the campaign.. Clubs that need help creating, producing, or paying for new or improved Public Image materials, may be eligible to receive financial assistance from the District...Does your club have a handout, trifold, or other material, which is old and dated? Does your club even have anything to give out to the public? How can the public contact your club?This is the time, using the new materials, to facilitate that....and we are here to help...
 
We have already assisted in creating and helping to pay for trifold handouts, newspaper tabs or supplements, a video about local Rotary, even rented billboard space...and the ideas are still coming. A few conference attendees had some suggestions which will be followed up over the next few months..
