Our Rotary District Conference is just around the corner, which is a great time for fellowship, learning new things, and sharing with other clubs, the wonderful accomplishments made this year. As the District Awards Chairperson, I would like to encourage every club to submit at least one nomination for an award.
Who is that one person in your club, who stands out in your mind, that not only goes above and beyond with your club, but also with in the community, or Internationally? Did your club have a new Fundraiser that exceeded your expectations? Or maybe you are working on a project with another organization in your area, that you are proud of. And let’s not forget our Rotaract and Interact clubs. These future Rotarians are over achievers and need to be recognized for what they are doing in our communities, as well as internationally. We have great clubs in our District, and great Rotarians!! Let’s recognize them at the District Conference, with the awards they deserve.
Submitting the award is very easy. Go to our District Website, http://rotary5580.org/sitepage/awards or, just click on the above link and it will take you directly to the awards. Choose the award you wish to submit, fill in the information and submit. All nominations must be submitted by April 1, 2019.
