Grant Program Highlights
Connect to RI Goals & Mission: Grant projects must support the goals and mission of Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation.
Rotarian Involvement: It is expected that all grant projects will have direct involvement of Rotarians in the planning , execution, or sustaining of the project, and grant projects must respect the wishes and needs of the receiving community.
Partnering Opportunities: There are many opportunities to partner on a grant - the more clubs involved the merrier! Learn about current grant partnership opportunities here: https://rotary5580.org/sitepage/grant-partnering-opportunities
Deadlines: Grant applications are due quarterly for review and decision by the Grants Subcommittee. The Rotary grant application is simple and straightforward. The next application deadline is 12/31/2022.
Ready to Get Started?
Your grant journey begins with three easy steps:
- Identify a need. Discuss your grant idea with your club. Once you have their support, contact the Grants Subcommittee to be assigned a mentor to help you through the grant process.
- Complete the Grants Management Seminar which will give you a great introduction to Rotary Grants.
- Start filling out the grant application - getting a draft started or an outline written before you connect with your mentor can be helpful to collect your thoughts clearly on the details of your project.
With your help, we can make lives better in your community and around the world. It all starts with you, a Rotarian, identifying a need locally or globally.
The grants subcommittee is eager to connect with you and learn more about your grant ideas! Be sure to take a minute to explore the District Grant webpage.
