Submitted by: Past District Governor Craig Loughery, District 5580 Membership Chair

These are the words from Rotary International President Mark Maloney, in the August issue of The Rotarian magazine..."To Grow our Service..to grow the Impact of our Projects...we must GROW OUR MEMBERSHIP so that we can achieve more..."

The President and/or Membership Chair of each club in the District will be contacted and asked to review their own club numbers over the last five years...and review why, and how, they have come to their present levels...Sort of a "Self-Survey," and pause to evaluate things.

Each club should review any ideas or changes that might improve these standings. District leadership stands ready to advise, and assist, if needed, to help clubs facilitate as necessary. Assistant Governors may "check in" with club Boards to see what their thoughts may be.

The goal is to GROW ROTARY...So that we can GROW OUR IMPACT on the world and in our communities...Our Mission to do Good in the World, can be even more effective, if there are more good Rotarians.
