Hello all you wonderful Rotarians.
Your efforts to support your communities and the world are noted and appreciated.
Now let’s focus on Youth Protection Current status. out of 66 Clubs in our District, only 18 or 29% have sent the Youth Protection Resolution to us. So Please do this ASAP. It is so simple to do this.. Print out the document.. Sign it during a board meeting.. And then send a copy/ electronically to us.. And it is done..
We also have increased our Certified Youth Volunteers to 7, or 11% of clubs..
The process is again simple.. But takes some action on each Rotarian interested in becoming a Certified Youth Volunteer. And instructions to become Certified in US.
We also ask that each club do one program on Youth Protection per year.. To remind and educate each Rotarian about what it means and what to do about it.
I am available via zoom to share the Youth Protection awareness training.. Please contact me to set a date.
Total Goal: all the youth associated with any Rotary Club and Rotarian will be kept safe. Each Rotarian is kept safe from wrongful accusations, and the Clubs and the District from adverse events.
Canada is a bit different due to the background checks to be done in Canada. Please contact Peter Holt-Hindle for more on Canada.
