We were excited to welcome Club Presidents-Elect, Nominees, and Secretaries to LEAD (Leadership Experience and Development) training sessions in Fargo (March 30) and Duluth (April 6), District 5580’s version of Rotary PETS training. The purpose of this program is to strengthen clubs, promote membership, engage Rotarians, and inspire those around us through Rotary values and vision.
Jill Carlson, facilitated the Fargo session and led participants through an exciting Colors personality trait leadership seminar, providing valuable insights and a resource that could be used at the club level to enhance collaboration.
Linda Marrin, District Trainer, facilitated the Duluth session.
General sessions covered the topics of Membership, Foundation, Public Image, and Youth Protection. Participants could also attend breakout sessions with topics including Fundraising, the Presidential Citation, New Member Orientation and Engagement, Club Central and Goals, ClubRunner, and Roles and Responsibilities of Club Officers and Chairs.
Participants were encouraged to share these experiences with their clubs. Thank you to the participants, presenters, Assistant Governors, and District Training Committee members who helped make these great sessions possible.
