Public Image is not why I joined Rotary!  I’m Minnesota nice and we strive to be better than average but goodness, there’s no reason to shout about it!  Or is there?  Rotary is not a secret society, not a back-room, deal making, exclusive operation, just the opposite!  We have a Foundation that ranks #1 on Charity Navigator, a world-wide presence and a seat at the United Nations!  Heck, we’re in more countries than McDonalds!

We do have an awful lot to be proud of and I’ve always thought that we are too good not to share and if your club is like mine, lots of members are experiencing life, aging, transfers, circumstantial changes that make it imperative we keep refreshing our ranks and, heaven’s to Betsy, growing our ranks!  Many hands make light work, more ideas, more connections and,

let's face it, more money, to do what we do.

That’s why we need to get on the figurative soap box and crow a bit because if we let a couple of these cats out of the bag, some people may get curious enough to ask what it’s all about wherein you can say “how about you come to lunch with me next Wednesday and I’ll show you!”

Public Image can come in many forms and District #5580 would like to help you finance yours!  There is a new, easy form that will spell out what qualifies, how we’ll pay for half if all works out and if you have any other questions, you can find me @ rotaryscott5580@gmail.com  or  218-343-2282 and we ask that you make your club easy to locate on your material as well!

Yours in Rotary,

Scott Soderberg,
