World Polio Day is a time for Rotary members, public health advocates, and all who want a world free from polio to come together, recognize our progress in the fight to end polio, and talk about the actions we need to take in order to end polio for good.
All donations are matched 2:1 by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, tripling your impact!

Provide for our Over-wintering Pollinators
Congratulations to our Pollinator Garden Photo Challenge winners! Thanks to everyone who submitted such thoughtful project photos - please see below for a snapshot of the entries. Special shout-out to Tim LeClair of Fargo, ND for his backyard garden and pollinator house photos, which earned him a $100 gift card to the garden center of his choice.
In addition to adding pollinator-friendly plants to your green space, there are many easy things you can do RIGHT NOW to help our pollinators survive the winter, too. THIS LINK offers a variety of options, from leaning a leaf piles as cover to taking note of where your local species nest and doing your best to not disturb them.

Now accepting Outbound Applications for Rotary Youth Exchange 2025-26 School Year!
While we host one class of 'Inbound' students, we are also busy preparing a class of 'Outbound' students for a year of study abroad. And when they have earned their wings, they fly to the four corners of the earth and many places in between. While overseas, our students serve as young 'ambassadors' for their home communities, states/province, country, and (of course) Rotary.
Rotary District 5580 is using an online application for this year’s potential outbound students. The application can be found by visiting: https://yehub.net/CEN-obapp
WE CAN ONLY SHARE YOUR CLUB'S NEWS, IF WE KNOW ABOUT YOUR CLUB'S NEWS!
The number one thing most clubs want to know is what is happening around the District, but we can't help spread the word if we don't know what your club is up to.
Please submit a summary of your club events, news and projects to Renae Ronquist and Gloria Mink by the 10th of each month. We can include information in our Monday Minutes and in our newsletter.
