Let's Create Hope in the World 🕊️

During the International Assembly, Rotary International President-elect R. Gordon R. McInally announced his presidential theme, Create Hope in the World.
"By continuing what we do best, by remaining open and willing to change, and by keeping our focus on building peace in the world and within ourselves, Rotary helps create a more peaceful world — a more hopeful world."
How will you lead the way toward new possibilities? Let's bring lasting change to the world, one restored or newly created hope at a time.

Are you eating healthier this new year? Why not snack smarter for the planet too, and make some simple snack recipes at home to reduce single use plastic consumption while saving money! Did you know that roughly 40% of the 448 million megatonnes of plastic produced every year is designed for single use, much of it for packaging intended to be discarded within minutes after purchase (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41599-021-00747-4)? By making your own delicious, homemade fruit rollups, cheesy crackers, and even potato chips, you can help to save the planet and your wallet at the same time! Check out: https://www.purewow.com/food/easy-snacks-to-make for more inspiration and recipes.

Bear was an engraver, and the wheel that he designed is pictured below.
