Last month Literacy Corner looked at News Literacy which is closely related to Media Literacy defined as the ability to access, analyze, evaluate, create and act using all forms of communication. With so many devices such as Smart Phones which can connect to the internet powerful tools are at our disposal and we have the capacity to send messages that can be read by a great number of people. Interpreting these messages can be extremely important, and that is where Media Literacy is essential.
